FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to arrangement of roof components in dwelling, public, and industrial buildings when rolled roofing material is used. Adjoining unit includes concrete cover made of light-weight concrete of 300 mm height with horizontal area made at angle of 45 deg. Glued at two sides is sliding strip of rolled material. Then, glued are main and additional waterproofing layers of roofing 100 mm higher with respect to concrete cover. Protective apron made of zinc-plated steel is installed over layer of cement slurry. Upper surface of waterproofing layers and protective apron is coated with waterproofing mastic. Upon that, built is small brick wall from clay brick 120 mm thick with pointing up. This small wall is made up to top of brick-laid balustrade wall. Then, placed on cement slurry are sectional reinforced concrete balustrade plates with filling joints between them by cement slurry. Application of aforesaid arrangement improves quality of adjoining waterproofing layers of rolled roofing to brick-laid balustrade walls with height over 500 mm. Reliability in process of using it is also improved. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
