FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely, to building parapet canopy and method of its attachment. Parapet canopy comprises parapet bracket with parapet attachments, apron sheets bent to size and parapet shape, overlapped and rigidly fitted on U- or C-shaped parapet profile. Lower sheet of the apron is installed with bending of the sheet into the profile chute fixed by at least one parapet for the parapet, the profile repeats the section shape of the parapet and is located with the chute upwards and aside from the parapet of the building accordingly. Also disclosed is a method of fixing a canopy of a parapet of a building.
EFFECT: improved waterproofing.
