FIELD: friction gear used to impart rotary motion at a constant speed without members with planetary motion. SUBSTANCE: a roller revolves around a ring alternately from different sides, the ring and roller get pressed to each other due to mutual vibrations and directive pressure force on the side of one of these bodies. Pressure force is varied by self-sustained vibrations. The friction gear comprises a drive shaft with a roller, a disk with a ring rigidly attached to it, device for producing pressure between the roller and ring, vibration exciters. The roller has a cut for revolving of the ring alternately around different tips, end play due to inclination to the axis of rotation, and installed for self-sustained vibrations. The roller has springs located on two sides. Drive rollers located symmetrically relative to the axis of rotation of the disk serve as vibration exciters. EFFECT: reduced relative slippage, expanded kinematic capabilities due to roller geometry. 2 cl, 3 dwg
