FIELD: communications engineering. SUBSTANCE: repeater has base station, set of separated antennas interconnected at certain interval, and set of separated components; first of mentioned set of separated components is electrically connected between base station and first of mentioned separated antennas; it functions to receive and process signal transmitted from base station, conveys processed signal to first antenna, and each of remaining separated components handles signal processed by preceding component and transmits processed signal to next antenna and to next component. Each of separated components compensates for loss of signal processed by preceding component across electrical connection of separated components, compensates for input signal, delays compensated signal by at least 2.5 mcs, and transmits delayed signal to next component. EFFECT: extended coverage and call support area, reduced loss in base station signal transmission, improved characteristics of radio signal. 5 cl, 4 dwg
