FOOD RATION AND FOOD RATION OBTAINING METHOD Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: production of food which does not require cooking and is used under extreme conditions, for instance, during rescue works in rescue boats and on vessel rafts. SUBSTANCE: food ration is based on wheat-and-bean mixture and condiment and further contains protein-and-fat bearing component, glycerine, polyvitamin mixture and 10%-betacarotene. Method involves preparing and cleaning wheat-and-bean basic mixture; dosing and mixing components; cooking; drying; grinding; pressing and packaging. Wheat-and-bean basic mixture is cooked together with vegetables, condiment and salt at temperature of 120-130 C and pressure of 0.15-0.18 MPa for 50-60 min. Cooked product is dried till mass part of moisture content reaches 7.5-8.0% and ground. Obtained product and other receipt components are mixed, pressed and packaged.
