FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology and aims at preparing a scleral allograft for scleroplasty in progressive degenerative myopia. Allograft is placed in 0.1% riboflavin solution for 20 minutes. Allograft is then removed from the solution and subjected to ultraviolet crosslinking at wavelength 370 nm at radiation intensity 3 mW/cm2 for 30 minutes with installation of 0.1% riboflavin on the allograft surface every 5 minutes. Thereafter, the allograft is placed in 1.5% Actovegin solution for 30 minutes.
EFFECT: invention provides higher biomechanical stability of the scleral graft with simultaneous provision of its stimulating effect on the haemodynamics of the operated eye.
