METHOD OF OPTIMIZATION OF ANTIBACTERIAL THERAPY IN BURN PATIENTS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2140295 C1

FIELD: burn treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for preventing and treating sepsis in burn patients. Blood cells of severe-burn patients are proposed to be treated extracorporally with antibiotic claphoran using 150-350 ml of venous blood. Bottles with exfused and heparinized blood are centrifuged for 15 min with speed 2000 ppm, plasma is removed, and cell mass is diluted with 50-100 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution. Claphoran (1000-3000 mg) is introduced into bottle. Solution thus obtained is incubated 90 min at 37 C and centrifuged once more for 15 min with speed 2000 ppm. Supernatant is removed and cellular mass is twice washed with 50-100 ml of sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution, diluted with 50-100 ml of the same solution and injected intravenously and dropwise to patient. EFFECT: enhanced treatment efficiency. 3 ex
