FIELD: building industry, more particularly applying fireproof coatings onto internal surfaces of residence, public and industrial buildings. SUBSTANCE: fireproof coating made from composition comprising carbamide, diammonium phosphate, boric acid and water contains layer of composition comprising, wt %: organophosphoric acid, 2.0- 5.0; carbamide, 15-32; and the water balance. Said additional layer is disposed above layer of composition comprising, wt %: carbamide 20-34; diammonium phosphate, 10-22; boric acid, 4.6; and the water balance. Method of preparing fireproof coating comprises applying fireproof composition comprising carbamide, diammonium phosphate, boric acid and water onto building structures by preliminary applying composition comprising wt %: organophosphoric acid. 2.0-5.0; carbamide, 19-32; and water balance, drying the surface and applying many times composition comprising, wt %: carbamide, 20-34; diammonium phosphate, 10-22; boric acid, 4-6 and the water balance onto dried surface. Composition comprising wt %: carbamide 20-34, diammonium phosphate, 10-22; boric acid, 4-6 and the water balance is applied onto dried surface two times with interval of 4 hours. After applying composition comprising wt %: organophosphoric acid, 2.0-5.0; carbamide, 15-32 and the water balance, drying is carried out for 12 hours.
