FIELD: manufacture of high-pressure compressors. SUBSTANCE: pressure of gas is preliminarily increased in turbo-compressor and then it is fed to compressor through suction collector at simultaneous suction to working chamber of compressor. Gas is supplied in cycles which is ensured by operation of system of valves. Compressor is driven by output shaft of internal combustion engine and turbo-compressor is driven by exhaust gases of the same engine. To enhanced economical efficiency of operation, part of gas from turbo-compressor outlet is fed for turbo-supercharging of internal combustion engine through system of controllable valves. Control of capacity of turbo-compressor and compressor may be effected separately. EFFECT: increased productivity; reduced power requirements; possibility of control of productivity. 9 cl, 1 dwg
