FIELD: ophthalmology; applicable in preoperative prognostication of possible excessive cicatrization of outflow tracts of aqueous humor after sinusotrabeculectomy. SUBSTANCE: method is based on revealing in blood serum diluted in ratio of 1:50 of antibodies of 1-immunoglobulin class to collagen of III type. Excessive cicatrization in postoperative period is prognosticated in case of absence of said antibodies in blood serum. EFFECT: possible prognostication of outcome of operation and selection of subsequent optimal tactics of treatment.
