FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: before operation it is necessary to detect the content of immunoglobulin A and availability of autoantibodies to DNA either in serum and/or lacrimal liquid of a sick eye and at decreased serumal IgA being below the inferior border of age norm, and/or at decreased IgA in a tear and/or availability of autoantibodies to DNA one should predict postoperational complications. The method enables to predict the result of operation and match appropriate, the most optimal prophylactic treatment.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
