SUBSTANCE: prior to surgical intervention, level of blood nitrite is determined, which serves as marker of synthesis of main factor of vessel relaxation of nitrogen oxide. If concentration of blood nitrite is less than 0.20 mcg/ml, possibility of development of ischemic complications is determined. Risk degree rises if said parameter reduces. EFFECT: higher accuracy of prognosis which allows more accurate determination of terms of surgical intervention, well-timed correction of pharmatherapy aimed at prevention of brain ischemia and improvement of operation results.
