FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed contactless electric machine can be used as electric motor to set in motion technological machines and transport plants operating under changing values of loads and speeds of movement as well as generator working in environment with high humidity, high dust loading and carrying corrosive chemical substances. Machine includes body 1, stator 2 with winding 3, rotor 4 with magnetoconducting elements 5 separated by nonmagnetoconducting elements 6. Active conductors of winding of stator are located in sections placed opposite to working surfaces of poles of inductor. Magnetoconducting and nonmagnetoconducting elements are separated conductively. In this case sum of values of width of magnetoconducting elements arranged in section of rotor whose length equals distance between ends of two magnetic poles of inductor positioned side by side is less than length of this section of rotor and sum of values of width of nonmagnetoconducting elements located in this section of rotor is more than sum of values of gap between working surfaces of magnetic pole of inductor and rotor, rotor and stator. Active conductors of winding of stator are positioned only in these sections of stator which are located in opposition to working surfaces of magnetic poles of inductor.
