FIELD: electrical engineering; electrical equipment for motor vehicles, tractors, aircraft, and other self-propelled machines. SUBSTANCE: generator has field frame, pole system, disk for securing the latter, part supporting revolving components, bearings, field-winding magnetic circuit, drive pulley, and fan. Novelty is that generator is provided with additional disk and both disks have alignment bosses for pole system, the latter is reliably screwed to disks, disk hubs are mounted on outer cages of bearings, and motionless axle is used as part supporting revolving components. Field- winding magnetic circuit is made in the form of bushing with two cup- shaped flanges abutting against this bushing; bushing and flanges are mounted on axle within rotor interior; generator has its drive pulley mounted on hub of one of disks above bearing and is provided with centrifugal axial-flow fan abutting against disks. Generator incorporates provision for reducing original unbalance of pole system, improving rotor balancing, and protecting air gap between pole system and magnetic circuit against ingress of dust and dirt. EFFECT: reduced longitudinal dimensions of generator and improved its stator cooling conditions.
