FIELD: cigarette industry. SUBSTANCE: cigarette contains fibrous filtering material, additive acting as antimutagen relative to cigarette smoke and used in an amount of at least 15% by weight of filter fibers. As compared to similar cigarette with unventilated filter free of additive, such filter retains nicotine R(N), % by weight, determined by method COPESTA No 9, satisfying the following formula: R(N) ≥ 100(1-D), where D=exp. (A •B+C), where A= 21mm is filter length (mm) for filter length ≤ 25 mm or A=4mm for filter length of >25 mm; B=9.3 • 10-3 (l/mm) and C= - ( d4 •Δp K+L), where d= diameter of filter (mm), Δp=filter draft at drawing (mm of water column), K=1.0228 •10-6 [l/( mm4(mm of water column)] and L=0.2334. Such filter allows selected mutagenic substances to be filtered more intensively (by 10%) than other substances contained in smoke. Filtering capacity of this filter is determined by means of strain test. EFFECT: increased efficiency by intensified antimutagenic effect. 2 tbl
