FIELD: gas and oil industry; field and plant treatment of hydrocarbon gases. SUBSTANCE: method consists in introducing the hydrating volatile inhibitor, cooling the gas, separation, introducing the absorbent into flow and discharge and regeneration of used inhibitor and absorbent. Flows of used inhibitor and absorbent are combined and are directed to flow of gas at the beginning of process where it is separated and separated phase of saturated absorbent is fed for regeneration. Lower aliphatic alcohols or ketones are used as hydrating volatile inhibitor; glycols or their esters, as well as mixtures of glycols and their esters may be used as absorbent. EFFECT: intensification of dehydration process due to reduction of gas-absorbent contact temperature. 2 cl, 1 dwg
