FIELD: absorption drying of hydrocarbon gases; treatment of hydrocarbon gases at fields and at Manufacturing plants. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes primary separation of gas, cooling this gas, secondary separation of gas, introduction of absorbent into gas flow after secondary separation, discharge and regeneration of used absorbent; absorbent is also introduced before cooling and secondary separation in the amount ensuring dew point of gas by moisture content after cooling by magnitude ΔT = Δτ+Δτ2, below average temperature T of gas after cooling, where ΔT is difference between gas temperature and its dew point by moisture content after cooling apparatus; Δτ1 is difference between average temperature of gas after cooling apparatus and temperature of gas in the coldest tube of cooling apparatus; Δτ2 is difference between dew point temperature and condensing temperature of gas hydrate by gas phase. Besides that, part of absorbent may be fed to gas flow before cooling and remaining part is directed for regeneration together with liquid phase separated during secondary separation.
