FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: amorphous ethylene copolymer with at least one olefin of formula I: CH₂=CHR wherein R is C_2-10 alkyl, said copolymer having content of ethylene derivative units of about 38-85 mole % and alpha-olefin derivative units of about 38-85 mole % and it has the following characteristics: (A) mole percentage in copolymer (%α) and ratio between molar content of olefin triads and molar percentage of alpha-olefin in copolymer αα/α meets relationship (%α)-250(αα.α)≥10: (B) less than 2% of CH₂ groups in polymer chain are contained in (CH₂)_n alterations and n is even number. These copolymers are prepared in the presence of catalysts based on metallocene having two fluorohenyl groups, bonded together through bridge group.
