FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: described is method of preparing ethylene polymerization of ethylene in the presence of catalyst comprising compound of spatially rigid metallocene of IV group transition metal having two substituted indenyl ligands with bridge bond between them. Metallocene compound is substantially in meso-isomeric form. Also described are products prepared therefrom, more particularly ethylene homo- and copolymers having very high molecular weight and narrow molecular weight distribution, e. g. natural rubbers having properties of high elasticity.
