FIELD: composition for imparting to textile material of fire retarding and cloth-softening properties. SUBSTANCE: composition is aqueous stable solution of product which consists of tetrakis (hydroxyorganic) phosphonium salt, nitrogen-organic compound and compound reactive with respect to hydroxyl group. Composition is distinguished by the fact that compound reactive with respect to hydroxyl group is used in form of aliphatic compound having 12 and more carbon atoms and is taken from group consisting from primary and secondary amines, diamines salts of quaternary ammonium, ethoxylated amines, amine oxides, alkylamino-substituted carboxylic acids, amides and ethoxylated amides or amidoimidasoline, siloxane or derivatives of silane. In this case, aqueous solution of product is 60% stable aqueous solution of said product. Method of production of said composition and said textile material are offered.
