PERISTALTIC PUMP Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2141060 C1

FIELD: chemical, food-processing, medical and other industries as flow agitators of various media (aggressive media inclusive). SUBSTANCE: pump has flexible hose, two of more clamping members (cams) which are not interconnected; each cam is provided with two independent drives (electromagnetic, pneumatic or hydraulic) articulated with opposite ends of cams. Cams are located along length of hose, tightly to each other. Cam drive control system provides for alternative motion of cams in such way that each subsequent drive is switched on before switching off previous drive by amount of 1/2 of duration in switched-off condition. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and efficiency; simplified construction; reduced overall dimensions and mass; reduced pulsation of flow rate. 3 cl, 4 dwg
