PRESSURE STABILIZER Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: suppression of fluctuations of pressure and flowrate of fluid fed by pumps, elimination of hydraulic shocks at closing valves and shutters, at de-energizing or driving pumps with closed shutter. SUBSTANCE: central pipeline 2 with perforated holes 3 is embraced by housing of stabilizer 1. In parallel with central pipeline around it there are at least three damping chambers 4 placed in axial horizontal plane of pipeline and over it. Each damping chamber 4 is in the form of cylindrical tube 5 of elastic material arranged in rigid casing 6 with formation of annular gap filled with porous elastically deformed material 7. Pipeline 8 with perforated holes 9 is mounted inside tube 5 along its lengthwise axis. Rings 10,11 mounted respectively on outer surface of pipeline 8 and inner surface of casing 6 are used for fixing end portions of tube 5. Ends of tube 5 are squeezed by means of clamping screws 12 between cone surfaces of rings 10,11. Chamber 4 is sealed by means of couplings 13 and gaskets 14 and it is connected with space between inner surface of housing 1 and outer surface of central pipeline 2 by means of branch pipes 15 and flanges 16. Stabilizer also has flanges 17 for joining. EFFECT: lowered volume of damping chamber in comparison with known types of stabilizers, reduced delay time of hydraulic tract "central pipeline - damping member", enlarged range of allowable working pressure values. 2 dwg
