FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is designed for use in metering systems of different materials (including aggressive and sterile ones) or as discrete feeder providing constant average flow rate at preset frequency of delivery of metered out amounts. Diaphragm proportioning pump has two metering heads, two flexible diaphragms and two solenoids operating alternately on one movable armature. Yoke of each solenoid has threaded bushing made of magnetically soft material which serve as stops of electromagnet armature. One bushing has right-hand thread and the other, left-hand thread and they can be moved simultaneously in opposite directions under action of turnable disk coupled with bushings. Pump diaphragms are made of flexible sheet material. Each diaphragm is secured between two conical flanges with angle of taper equal to 45 deg. Relative to diaphragm plane.
