FIELD: mechanical engineering; sealing piston-cylinders pairs working at high pressure, high temperature and high relative velocities of sliding of friction surfaces, mainly in piston-type internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed seal includes guide cylinder and piston with detachable heat-resistant head. Solid sealing rings are laid in common stepped bore on piston on side of above-piston volume through spacer rings. Sealing rings are made from porous powder material and are fitted in guide cylinder at interference. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
