FIELD: automatic control equipment, in particular, for spacecraft control systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves independent alternate setting of control signal duration τd and control signal pause τp according fixed values of measured input signal so that no delay is added in control system. Corresponding relay regulator has analog-to-digital converter, memory unit, digital comparator, flip-flop, multiplexer, generator and pulse counter. Target parameters τd and τp depending on input signal are stored in memory unit, so that relay regulator adds no delay in control system due to continuous comparison of real values to target ones.
