FIELD: discrete control over phase in communication and radar systems with phased arrays of various assignment, measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: proposed phase shifter has strip conductor produced in the form of meander and confined between first and second dielectric plates, first and second switched wide strips arranged on outer sides of plates along meander, straps conductively intercoupling wide strips, first pair of switching diodes placed across input and output ends between meander and one of wide strips, second pair of diodes placed across input and output ends of one of wide strips, screen, fifth diode and absorbing resistor connected in series and placed at quarter-wavelength distance of shortest parasitic resonance from one of ends of meander. In this case rated resistance of absorbing resistor equals half of wave resistance of feeding lines. EFFECT: provision for wider band of working frequencies at big controlled phase shifts and small dimensions. 17 dwg
