SUBSTANCE: method involves sowing safflower seeds in saline soil, containing 50-60% by weight of solonchack solonetz, 20-30% by weight of saline, solonetz-like light chestnut soil and chestnut-like meadow soil the remainder. Seeding rate is 18-20 kg/hectare and row spacing does not exceed 0.3 m. Method allows dry steppe and semiarid zone utilization to be intensified.
