SPRINKLER UNIT Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, sprinkler equipment for irrigating, fertilizing and protecting perennial fruit plants in mountain and piedmont regions. SUBSTANCE: sprinkler unit has supports with pulleys. Cables are running over pulleys to pull sprinklers and support flexible pipelines by means of hangers. Sprinkler unit is further provided with pump and drive stations. Sprinkler is immovably fixed to cable by hook clamp. Hook is joined to distributing pipeline by clips, pivot journals and pin-coupling. Distributing pipelines are suspended by means of double-armed hanger formed as cable passed through eyelet with retainer in hook. Cable is connected to distributing pipeline ends. Telescopic distributors are pivotally attached to distributing pipeline and provided with three pairs of sprinklers. EFFECT: increased efficiency by fully mechanized irrigating, fertilizing and plant protecting processes, reduced water consumption and improved quality of tilled soil regardless of profile of slopes. 3 cl, 2 dwg
