FIELD: sanitary and hygienic articles, in particular, tooth cleaning and mouth cavity care facilities. SUBSTANCE: toothbrush has head covered with current-conducting layer, which is partly covered with second current-conductive layer. Materials used for forming current-conductive layers have different electron yield work values. At least one of materials is chemically inert to electrolyte, such as mouth cavity content. During cleaning of teeth, ions such as Cu++ or Ag+, are emitted from layer with smaller electron yield work value. Current- conductive layers are made for mutual diffusion of materials, from which said layers are manufactured. As a result, electrical resistance between layers is eliminated and metal ion concentration is increased. EFFECT: increased efficiency in tooth and mouth cavity cleaning. 3 cl, 1 dwg
