FIELD: medicine, hirudopharmacology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of leeches for preparing drug used for cutaneous application. Prepared medicinal leeches are treated by microwave-field in microwave oven. Liquid component formed by treatment in microwave-field (extract) is separated, evaporated up to the content of dry matter from 25% to 60% and used for preparing the concentrate, curative and cosmetic agents in combination with the preparation "Tizol". Method provides preparing extract from medicinal leeches without solvents using at minimal time expense and conservation of obtained extract for its use in preparing medicinal and cosmetic agents, in part, curative ointments and creams.
