FIELD: equipment for repairing pipelines ( gas conduits) in field condition, possibly for gas-oxygen cutting of openings at tapering edge for welding. SUBSTANCE: gas cutter 1 is jointly connected through intermediate members with platform 2 of carriage by means of axle "b" with possibility of rotation relative to surface of cut pipeline "a". Simultaneously surface of pipeline is traced by roller 9 mounted on end of cutter 1 near its nozzle at positive motion of carriage along follower ring 4. Carriage is movably mounted on curvilinear follower ring 4 with possibility of positive rotation by means of driven and driving rollers 5,6. Reduction gear 7 with handle is mounted on carriage. Output shaft 22 of reduction gear is joined with shaft 21 of driving roller 6. In order to realize remote control, flexible shaft with handle on its end may be secured to shaft 21 of reduction gear instead of handle. Curvature of ring 4 determines spatial position of cutter, contour of ring opening restricts contour of opening cut in tube wall. Ring 4 is mounted on pipeline "a" in supports 14 and it is secured by means of chains. EFFECT: lowered mass and size of apparatus, enhanced operational reliability of apparatus due to arranging it outside of zone of cut opening, high functionality of apparatus due to combined operation of cutting opening and tapering its edge for welding. 4 cl, 5 dwg
