FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: fertilizer is sulfur-coated composition onto which polymer is applied. Upper coating applied onto sulfur-coated fertilizer comprises about 5-50 wt % of polymer and 0.5-50 wt % of hydrocarbon paraffin. Polymer includes ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymers, ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymers, ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymers, ethylene, vinyl alcohol and vinyl acetate terpolymers or mixtures thereof, and hydrocarbon paraffin is selected from group consisting of natural petroleum paraffin with drop point of 60-80 C and synthetic hydrocarbon paraffin having drop point of 60- 105 C and molecular weight of 400-600, or mixtures thereof. Fertilizer is capable of retarded evolution of substances, wear resistance, looseness; it does not adhere and is substantially dust-free.
