FIELD: construction and finishing operations. SUBSTANCE: this relates to hand tools used for plastering of surfaces in buildings and structures. Darby has flat rectangular working part and inclined part conjugated with its upper edge. Inclined part is intended for loading and application of mortar. It has side edges in the form of triangular. Inclined part intended for loading and application of mortar is located at angle of approximately 135 deg. with respect to working part of tool. Free edge of inclined part is rounded with creation of upper handle. Lower edge of working part conjugates with part located at angle of approximately 45 deg. Rounded edge of this part creates lower handle. Side edges can be made with removable rubber slides. Darby can be made of sheet steel or aluminium. Aforesaid embodiment of plastering tool reduces inputs of material, time and labour. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
