FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: semi-mechanical trowel consists of two parts connected together by a hinge joint, where the first part is a sheet base, which can have different geometric configurations along the perimeter, and the working edge can be even or serrated. On the opposite edge, with respect to the working edge, there is a tongue projecting laterally and parallel to the grip handle, bent downwards at its end. A hinge joint blocking retainer is installed on the tongue; the first element of the hinge joint is installed on the bottom side of the sheet base. The second part of the semi-mechanical trowel is the grip handle of the tool, equipped at its beginning with the second return element of the hinge joint, and in its continuation having a handle, a bend protecting the fingers from pinching in the folded state of the trowel, an anti-deformation abutment towards the rear side of the sheet base in the form of a cross bar, and an abutment for the forearm with a fastening belt, mounted on the bend of the grip handle. The materials for manufacturing the semi-mechanical trowel have a wide range of applications, such as: black steel, stainless steel, all non-ferrous metals, rigid polymers, wood.

EFFECT: reducing the labour intensity of the process of applying and levelling painting and plastering solutions when working on walls and ceilings and increasing the production rates.
