FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: switchgear has control compartment, circuit-breaker and isolator compartment, and cable compartments. Control compartment accommodates operating mechanisms of vacuum circuit breakers, automatic control and monitoring unit, and operating mechanisms for ground isolators with respective interlocking devices. Control and monitoring elements, as well as integrated circuit are mounted on front panel of this compartment. Circuit-breaker compartment accommodates vacuum circuit breakers with their vacuum chambers down, ground isolators, current and voltage sensors. Each cable compartment houses ground isolator reset springs and cable terminators. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced size, improved safety in servicing. 3 dwg
