FIELD: electrical engineering; indoor metal-clad switchgear cabinets.
SUBSTANCE: proposed switchgear and control gear has frame, relay compartment, draw-out equipment compartment, busduct compartment, cable compartment, and power cables. Partition is provided between draw-out equipment compartment and cable compartment. Current and potential transformers, ground electrode, line buses, and power cables are disposed in cable compartment for cable termination. Partition between draw-out equipment compartment and cable compartment is detachable structure that mounts current transformer for turning about its axis through 90 deg. toward draw-out equipment compartment for their transfer from working to maintenance position. Such mechanical design is incorporated in novel series of switchgear and control gear, types KU-10S and KU-6S, characterized in unique makeup of compartments: draw-out equipment compartment is disposed in cabinet center above cable compartment. When in maintenance position, it is mounted on inventory bogie in maintenance passage affording easy access to secondary-circuit contacts of current transformer, to power cables for their termination, and to all kinds of ground-electrode interlocking devices.
EFFECT: enhanced safety in single-ended servicing, primarily of current transformers and ground electrode.
