FIELD: medicine, namely maxillofacial surgery. SUBSTANCE: device may be used for treatment of lower jaw fractures. Device has epiosseous and intraosseous components coupled with jumper bent twice so that components are positioned in parallel to each other but directed to opposite sides. Epiosseous component is essentially plate with holes, and intraosseous component is cylindrical rod split longitudinally on side of end face for 0.5-0.75 of its length over plane perpendicular to plate plane. Its tabs are bent to opposite sides for width equal to its 1.5-2 diameters in plane parallel to plane of plate. Intraosseous component has temperature of memory-of-form manifestation below than temperature of human body, and epiosseous plate temperature is higher than the above- indicated one. Device ensures protection against rotary shifts, reduction of operation time and decrease in overall dimensions of fixing appliance. EFFECT: reliable fixing of splinters. 14 cl, 4 dwg
