FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method includes laying of vascular-tissue graft onto, perforated with 3-5 through holes 1 mm in diameter, bed of sclera deep layer; introduction of umbilical vessel with placental tissue sutured to vessel one end and treated with vasodilative substances, and with other end of vessel fastened in edges of conjunctive incision in projection of lid slit. EFFECT: intensified revascularizing effect in optic nerve atrophy.
