FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for controlled laser sintering focuses laser beam on sintered layer of powder by means of focusing lens and set of scanning mirrors. Heat irradiation of sintered layer reflects towards scanning mirrors and to light beam splitter. The last reflects heat irradiation but transmits irradiation of laser beam wave length. Irradiation is focused on photodetector, the last forms signal fed to power control circuit. Said circuit controls modulator for changing power of laser beam in such a way that to sustain constant level of heat irradiation and therefore temperature of sintering zone. EFFECT: enhanced uniformity of powder sintering. 11 cl, 11 dwg
