FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packing device for production of sealed packs from tube 14 made of packing material and filled with food product. Device has first and second chain conveyors 10, 11 which several first and second clamps engaging with tube and clamping it on equally spaced cross sections for sealing the tube on these sections. Device has monitor 91 which is provided with at least one fixed sensor 92, 93 engaging with each second clamp 13 for generating at least one control signal S1, S2, S3, S4 relating to operating parameter (Vo) quantity related with second clamp 13 and device 99 for comparing operating parameter (Vo) with at least one preset reference value (Vf) of above-indicated parameter and for generating error signal S5 indicating incorrect operation of second clamp 13 under control incase of deviation of preset relationship between operating parameter (Vo) and reference value (Vf).
