FIELD: jewetry industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed adhesive is prepared from polyvinyl acetate (polymers having molecular weight of from 60,000 to 200,000) obtained by polymerization of vinyl acetate in alcoholic solution and is subsequently heat treated at 100-190 C for 20-180 min. Adhesive seam, when semi- precious stone raw material is fixed on dop rod, is strong within temperature range of 0 to 140 C and is readily separated when heated to 150 C. The claimed adhesive melt can be reused. EFFECT: improved properties of the adhesive melt. 1 tbl
