FIELD: land-reclamation activities. SUBSTANCE: method can be used in construction of collector or drainage system by means of trench-digging or narrow trench-digging collector and drain-tube laying machines in winter conditions. Application of aforesaid method allows for carrying out heating, thawing and separating particles of frozen ground from surfaces of working equipment of drain-tube layer during its technological stoppages with continuing construction of drainage without lifting of equipment from trench. Cleaning of working equipment surfaces is effected by surface treatment of equipment directly in trench by subjecting these surfaces to stream alternately and successively of compressed ellipsoidal jet of hot liquid. This jet is lowered from top to bottom of working member surface and bin with supporting ski. Duration and reliability of cleaning of working surfaces of equipment by jet of hot liquid are constantly checked by visual observation according to appearing and completeness of oscillating motions. Treatment of working equipment in trench is performed multiply by turning of hot liquid jet backwards ahead and around nose part of ski. Space behind bin and ski is not treated so as to keep laid tubes and filtering material intact. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
