FIELD: means of vibration isolation, applicable in shipbuilding and mechanical engineering for reduction of noise and vibration within a wide range of static loads at isolation of systems with developed constructional ties and low camber. SUBSTANCE: the shock-absorber has plates with an elastically dissipative member of rubber-like material placed between them. The member is prestressed to a value of 0.2 to 0.8 of shock-absorber camber at nominal load by means of bolts. The bolts are passed through the holes in one of the plates, screwed by the ends in the fasteners, rigidly coupled to the other plate, and tightened by adjustable force. Use of the shock-absorber provides for mounting of complicated equipment on it with developed constructional ties without any danger of their break both in the process of mounting and in service because the device features a low camber at high static loads.
