FIELD: sewage treatment, such as toxic slimes, organic sediments, etc. SUBSTANCE: device 10 comprises a chute with inlet end 38 to receive lump material to be dehydrated, and outlet end 36 for output of dehydrated lump material. Screw conveyer 30 installed for rotation in the chute advances lump material simultaneously agitating it for improvement of separation of water and harmful vapors. Fan 40 produces an air flow, in the chute for carrying away water and harmful vapor separated by lump material. Vapors are directed to combustion chamber 42, in which combustion of maximum possible dangerous and toxic components is accomplished. The obtained gaseous atmosphere is directed through a duct providing heat exchange with the chute so as to raise the temperature of lump material subjected to treatment and stimulate separation of water and harmful vapors. The duct is separated from the chute so as to prevent direct contact between calcined gases which are ejected into the atmosphere and still non-calcined gases accumulated in the chute.
