FIELD: medicinal polymers. SUBSTANCE: to unsaturated polyester resin compositions highly advanced with regard to their homogeneity, low optical distortion, and/or improved coloration rate, one or several supplements selected from group including allyl ether and/or acrylic monomer are added together with compound inhibiting polymerization rate of such compositions which imparts commercial importance to modified polyester resin composition when molding contact lens. Mentioned supplements and compound inhibiting polymerization rate favor qualitative alteration of polyester thereby reducing optical distortion and/or improving rate of coloration. EFFECT: enabled possibility of improving any unsaturated polyester resin exhibiting relatively pure and low-color reflex to such extent that composition with properties necessary for contact lens can be prepared. 50 cl, 22 ex
