FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention includes defect elimination, application of the substrate composition, application of the transparent clearcoat composition and simultaneous solidification of the substrate layer and the topcoat at the temperature of 60-100°C. Thus, the substrate layer is formed by applying a poligidrazide solidified composition on aqueous base containing a dispersive and a dispersed phase. The dispersed phase contains the polymer particles obtained by polymerizing a mixture of ethylen-type unsaturated monomers. The ethylen-type unsaturated monomers include one or more ethylen-type multi-unsaturated monomers and one or more ethylen-type unsaturated monomers containing ald- or keto-groups. The invention provides composite coatings, which can be solidified at low temperatures.

EFFECT: invention helps to eliminate defects in the automotive coatings, in particular to eliminate defects in the multilayer coatings, which contain a colored substrate and a transparent topcoat.
