FIELD: manufacture of lenses for spectacles ensuring effective vision correction. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of blank for lens having binding surface. Lens blank forms soft die. Soft die and noncured resin are placed in mold having molding surface and whose one part has profile coinciding with binding surface of lens blank. Noncured resin may be located between binding surface of soft die and molding surface of mold. Interlaying resin has low cross-link density. Casting resin has higher viscosity and cross-link density than those of interlaying resin. Casting resin after curing forms a layer resistant to scratching. Photochromic layer may be applied after curing of resin at stage of producing of soft die by impregnation of blank. Optical configuration may be preset preliminarily. Binding surface may be convex, concave, spherical or aspherical. Using method, it is possible to produce bi-, three- and multifocal lenses resistant to mechanical damage with good optical characteristics.
