FIELD: fire-fighting method. SUBSTANCE: method involves directing fire-suppressing substance via liquid-gas ejector or injector by means of driving flow of charge combustion product released by solid fuel gas generator. Driving flow is discharged at supersonic flow rate and has braking characteristics of P=0.2-20 MPa and temperature T = 500-4,000 K. Aerosol-generating solid fuel mixture based on polymeric binder, nitrate and (or) perchlorate of alkali metals and process additives is used as charge. Components are used in the following ratio, % by weight: polymeric binder 9.0-18.0; nitrate and (or) perchlorate of alkali metals 77.0-86.5; process additives 4.5-5.0. EFFECT: increased fire-suppressing efficiency of combined fire-suppressing compound by additional saturation with aerosol of solid and liquid-gas phases containing alkali metal compositions.
