FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly gas-generating fire extinguishers supplying combined fire-extinguishing composition to fire seat. SUBSTANCE: gas generator comprises combustion chamber having lid, solid-fuel charge, igniter, pyro-cartridge and gas channel with nozzle unit arranged on lid. Solid-fuel charge is formed as cylinder insert. Nozzle unit is offset relative lid center axis. Nozzle unit is inclined relative combustion chamber longitudinal axis. Nozzle subsonic part extends relative lid central part into combustion chamber. Solid-fuel charge is made as inhibited grain or as set of at least three inhibited grains located along combustion chamber longitudinal axis. EFFECT: reduced thermal stress of nozzle unit subsonic part, increased power and reliability due to possibility of 3-4 gas generators grouping in the single block and working of all gas generators in single injection device. 3 cl, 1 dwg
