FIELD: firefighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to firefighting equipment, in particular to fusible aerosol-generating fire extinguishing compositions. The fusible aerosol-generating fire extinguishing composition contains an organic fuel-binder containing components selected from liquid or fusible thermoplastic polymer compounds; aliphatic polyhydric alcohols, mono-, di- and oligosaccharides and derivatives based on them; derivatives of dihydric phenols, melting in the range from 50 to 180°C; monobasic carboxylic acids of the aliphatic series, melting in the range from 50 to 180°C; fusible aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated paraffins; and an oxidizing agent selected from the group consisting of metal or ammonium salts of nitric, perchloric and dinitrazic acids, or a mixture thereof. The ratio of components in wt.% is: organic fuel-binder - 5.0-40.0; oxidizer - the rest.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to form large-sized charges according to industrial molding technology, improve the operational characteristics of the charges, increase the temperature limit of storage and operation, and also significantly reduce the specific consumption of the compositions when performing fire extinguishing work.
